Sumo Group Receives Queen's Award for Enterprise

Sumo Group is delighted to announce it has been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in recognition of its excellence in International Trade.

Now in its 56th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in England, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.

“To be recognized for this award this year is testament to the people of Sumo Group and their dedication to creating and developing exceptional games” said Carl Cavers, CEO, Sumo Group. “Despite the challenges of the past two years, and moving to a remote workforce, we’ve welcomed new starters, developed and released critically acclaimed games and our business has continued to grow and thrive. I am incredibly proud of everything our people have achieved.”

The Group has been recognized for two consecutive years in the ‘Best Companies Q1 UK’s 100 Best Large Companies To Work For’ list for 2022. The addition of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade to the company’s credentials proves again Sumo Group is a leader in its field as it continues its trajectory of growth.

The award itself will be presented at a ceremony later this year by The Lord-Lieutenant of the County, Her Majesty The Queen’s local representative. Each Award is formally conferred by a Grant of Appointment and is symbolised by the presentation of a trophy.
