14 nominations for Sumo Group at TIGA Games Industry Awards 2022

Sumo Group is delighted to announce that it has received 14 nominations at the upcoming TIGA Games Industry Awards 2022.

The business is represented across a number of categories including ‘Commitment to CSR’ and ‘Employer of the Year’. Group Director of HR, Karen McLoughlin has been nominated in the ‘Outstanding Leadership’ category.

Auroch Digital’s space simulation strategy Mars Horizon has been nominated in the ‘Educational, Serious or Simulation Game’ category, while the Bristol-based studio’s sandbox simulation Megaquarium has been nominated in the ‘Casual Game’ category respectively. Auroch Digital is also nominated for ‘Large Studio’, with Studio Director Tomas Rawlings also up for the ‘Outstanding Leadership’ Award.

Meanwhile, Sumo Digital has received four nominations including ‘Education Initiative’ and ‘Large Studio’, as well as Sumo Digital’s Managing Director Gary Dunn and Red Kite Games’ Studio Director Simon Iwaniszak both nominated in the ‘Outstanding Leadership’ category.

Sumo Group’s publishing division Secret Mode has been nominated for ‘Publisher of the Year’, while our award-winning art and design business Atomhawk is also up for the ‘Art/Animation/Trailer Supplier’ Award.

The TIGA Games Industry Awards 2022 will be held at the historic Church House Westminster venue on 10th November, where the winners will be revealed.
