Two of Sumo Group’s talented women were named winners at the 2022 MCV/Develop Women in Games awards.
The awards, held on Friday, celebrate amazing female talent in the UK games industry where women are recognised for their exceptional contributions to the industry and the incredible work they deliver.
Ruth Anna Caulcott-Cooper, Senior Programmer at The Chinese Room collected the ‘Development Impact’ award and Harinder Sangha, Operations Director at Sumo Leamington, brought home the award for ‘Career Mentor’.
In recognition of these achievements, CEO at Sumo Group, Carl Cavers said: “Our people are integral to the success of our companies, and I’m thrilled that Ruth and Harinder have had their talents recognised with these wins. I’m incredibly proud of all our nominees across the Group for their ongoing commitment to creating exceptional games and for their positive influence across the wider games industry.”
Following on from the awards Sumo Group will be celebrating & spotlighting the talented women working across the globe for International Women’s Day on March 8.
